How do you connect MapBoost to ChatGPT?
Find MapBoost in ChatGPT
In ChatGPT, open the apps list, search for MapBoost and choose Connect.
Sign in with Google
A MapBoost page opens. Sign in with Google and enter your phone number. You can also tick whether our team may contact you; that is optional.
Ask about a business
Back in ChatGPT, ask MapBoost to check a business by its name and city or a Google Maps link, and pick the right one from the list.
Read the result
You get a short card on how the profile compares with nearby competitors. Open the full comparison for the detail.
What data do we keep?
The full detail is in our privacy policy. In short, for MapBoost for ChatGPT:

| Your account | From Google sign-in: your email address, that Google has verified it, your Google account ID and your name if Google shares it. Plus the phone number you enter; we do not verify it. Kept until you delete your account. |
| Your contact choice | Whether you ticked "MapBoost team may contact me on phone/WhatsApp", the wording, its version, the time and a one-way hashed IP address, as proof of your choice. Kept until you delete your account; kept longer only if the law requires proof. |
| Your checks | The businesses you checked (Google Maps place ID) and their results. These are deleted automatically 30 days after each check. |
| Usage counts | Daily and total checks and daily searches, for the 5 free checks and fair-use limits. Daily counts expire after the day; your total is kept until you delete your account. |
| Hashed IP address | A keyed, one-way hash, for rate limits on sign-in and sign-up. It expires after the hour it is counted in. |
| Sign-in tokens | Issued to ChatGPT to keep you signed in. Access: 10 minutes. Refresh: up to 30 days, or until you sign out or delete your account. |
| Security log | Entries such as account deleted or sign-in revoked. Kept for one year. |
Check results are deleted automatically after 30 days. We do not receive your ChatGPT conversation, only what ChatGPT sends for a check.
How do you delete your account?
Two ways, whichever is easier:
- Use our account deletion page.
- Email growth@themapboost.com from the address you signed in with.
Deletion removes your account, your contact choice, your saved results, your check counts and your sign-in tokens. We stop contacting you and sign ChatGPT out of MapBoost as soon as you ask. Your account is fully deleted 15 days after you ask; if you sign in again before then, it is restored as it was. If your details were already passed to our sales team, we also send them a deletion request. Deletion is completed within 30 days. Proof of your contact choice is kept longer only if the law requires it.
