Is it allowed to ask customers for Google reviews?

Yes, as long as you ask everyone and offer nothing in return. What Google does not allow is paying for reviews, giving a discount for one, writing them yourself, or sending only your happy customers to Google while the unhappy ones go to a private form.

Every customer, no rewardThat is the rule our review requests follow. Google calls selective asking and incentives a policy violation.

How does our Google review service work?

  1. We connect to your system

Your CRM or billing system tells us when a visit or a sale is done, so the request goes out at the right moment.

  2. Every customer gets one message

On WhatsApp or by SMS, with your direct Google review link, so leaving a review takes one tap.

  3. A QR code covers the counter

For walk-ins who are not in your system, a review QR code at the counter asks the same question.

  4. Every new review gets a reply

The reviews that come in are answered as part of the core service: positive ones automatically in your voice, negative ones by a person on our team.

Why ask every customer, every time?

Most happy customers never think of leaving a review; they just come back. Unhappy ones are more likely to write without being asked. Asking everyone, at the moment the visit ends, evens that out and keeps reviews recent.

One tapA direct review link opens Google's review box straight away. You can make one for free with our review link generator; with this add-on, we send it for you.

Who are review requests for?

Businesses with a steady flow of customers and a system that records them: clinics with appointment software, salons and gyms with billing, restaurants with a POS, sports venues with online bookings. If you already have a list of customers, we can ask them.

Review requests are an add-on, priced on a call. Replies to every review are already part of review management in the core service.

Frequently asked questions

Is a Google review service allowed?

Asking your own customers for honest reviews is allowed. Buying reviews, offering anything in return, or asking only happy customers is not, under Google's policy. Our review requests add-on asks every customer and offers nothing in return, so the reviews that arrive are real. Read the review guide.

How do you ask customers for Google reviews?

By WhatsApp, SMS or a QR code, sent after a visit, once we have connected to your CRM or billing system. Each message carries a direct link to your Google review box. The setup is done by our team, so nobody at your counter has to remember to ask. Read about review replies.

Do customers need a Google account to leave a review?

Yes. A customer has to be signed in to a Google account to post a review, and most Android phone users already are. The link in our message opens the review box straight away, which keeps the step short for anyone who is signed in. Make a review link for free.

Can I give a discount to customers who leave a Google review?

No. Google does not allow rewards or discounts in exchange for reviews, even for honest ones. Offering them can get reviews removed and put your profile at risk. Our requests ask politely, and every customer gets the same message. Read the review guide.

Are replies to new reviews included with review requests?

Yes, the replying is already part of the core service. Replies are written in your voice. Negative reviews are handled by a person on our team. The review requests add-on only brings more reviews in, so you are not paying twice for the same work. See review management.

Is the Google review service included in the monthly price?

No. Review requests are an add-on, priced on a call, because they depend on connecting to your CRM or billing system. The core service covers replies to the reviews you already have and every new one. India: ₹2,499* per location per month. Europe: €49 per location per month + VAT where applicable. Rest of the world: $49 per location per month. See pricing.

How do I get a Google review QR code for my business?

A QR code is a square code that opens your Google review box when a customer scans it with a phone. You can make one for free with our generator. If you want us to send requests to every customer too, that is the add-on. Make a free review QR code.

Does the Google review QR code generator cost anything?

Yes. Our review QR code generator is a free tool and needs no payment. It makes a code linking to your review box. The separate review requests add-on, where our team asks every customer for you, is priced on a call. Try the free QR generator.

What is the difference between a review QR code and a review link?

They open the same Google review box. A link is sent in a message, such as WhatsApp or SMS, and a QR code is printed or shown at the counter so a customer can scan it. Our add-on uses both, so walk-in customers are covered too. Make a free review link.

How can a local business get lots of Google reviews?

By asking every customer, politely, at the end of the visit, and making the review one tap away. Paying for reviews or asking only happy customers is against Google's rules. No one can promise a number, and our add-on only does the asking. Read how to get more reviews.

Do you send review requests only to happy customers?

No. We ask every customer, because Google does not allow asking only those likely to give a good review. Filtering who gets the link, often called review gating, is something we do not build. Read our trust and safety answers.

What do I need before review requests can start?

A CRM or billing system that records your customers, since our team connects to it so the request goes out after each visit. For walk-ins not in the system, a counter QR code covers them. Pricing for the add-on is agreed on a call, after our team knows what you need. Get a call from our team.

Does the review requests add-on work for a clinic, salon or gym?

Yes, where there is a steady flow of customers and a system that records them, such as appointment software or billing. Clinics, salons, gyms, restaurants and sports venues all fit that pattern. The setup is done by our team, and pricing is agreed on a call. Browse industries we serve.
