This page collects local SEO statistics from three places: our own weekly data on the profiles MapBoost manages, Google search volumes for "near me" searches in India, and published global studies where the figure can be confirmed on its primary source. Every figure has its own heading, so you can link to it, and its source sits right under it.

What the numbers mean for a local business
Most of what a Google profile brings in happens on the profile itself: people call, or tap for directions. That makes the details on the profile, the pin, the hours, the phone number and the photos, as important as the website, and often more.
Reviews matter twice: to the person deciding where to go, and to Google's own ranking, which looks at how well known a business is. Read the review management guide and the guide on how to rank on Google Maps for what to do about it.
If you would rather have the weekly work done for you, our team runs it: replies, posts, photos, profile upkeep and rank checks, with a weekly report on WhatsApp. Start with the free local SEO audit.
