Google Review Link Generator
Paste your Google Place ID and get a link for Google reviews that opens the review box for your business. Copy it, share it, and use the message templates below. Free, no sign-up.
Find your business
Type 3 or more letters and pick your business from the list. The Place ID fills in for you.
Copy and share your link
Before you send it, open the link and check that your business name shows at the top of the review box.
Your review link appears here, ready to copy and share.
WhatsApp and SMS messages for your review link
Short, polite messages work best. Add your business name and the templates fill in your link. Send them to every customer, not just the ones you think will say nice things.

How to get a Google review link with and without Business Profile access
Without access to the Business Profile
You only need the Place ID. Find it with Google’s Place ID Finder, paste it into the tool above, and the link is ready. Anyone can make a link this way for a business, so check the business name before you share it.
With access to the Business Profile
If you manage the profile on Google, Google can show you a share link and a QR code for asking for reviews. It opens the same review box. If you would like a printable code, use the Google review QR code generator.
Where to use your Google review link
- WhatsApp after a visit or a completed job.
- SMS with the bill or the booking confirmation.
- Email signature and follow-up emails.
- Instagram bio or a link on your website.
- Printed QR code at the counter. See the QR code tool.
What Google allows when you ask for reviews
Asking is fine. Influencing the review is not.
- Do not offer anything in return: no discounts, free items or cashback.
- Ask everyone. Do not send the link only to happy customers, and do not route unhappy customers somewhere else first.
- Do not write reviews for your own business, or ask staff, friends or family to.
- Never pay anyone for reviews.
Google can remove reviews and restrict profiles that break these rules. Read the full Google Maps content policy.
After the reviews come in
A review link gets you the reviews. Replying to them is the next job. MapBoost drafts replies to your reviews, and a person on our team handles every negative review. Read about review management, or start with a free audit below. For ideas on asking well, see how to get more Google reviews.
Frequently asked questions
How do I create a Google review link?
Paste your business's Place ID, or a Google Maps link that contains it, into the tool above and press the button. It returns a direct link to your review box. Copy it or share it, then send it to customers. It takes less than a minute. Our review requests service can send it for you.
Is this Google review link generator free?
Yes. It is free, needs no sign-up and runs in your browser. We built it so any local business can ask for reviews properly. If you want the asking and the replying done for you, our team can take that over. See the review replies service.
What does a Google review link look like?
It is a Google address ending in your Place ID, in the form search.google.com/local/writereview?placeid= followed by the ID. It opens the review box for your business. Always open it yourself first and check the business name at the top. Our review guide shows where to share it.
Do I need Business Profile access to make a Google review link?
No. The link only needs the Place ID of the business, so anyone can make one, which is why you should check the business name before you share it. If you manage the profile, Google can also show a share link and QR code. Our QR code tool makes a printable one.
Does a Google review link expire?
No. It points straight to Google's review box for your business and works as long as the listing exists. You can save it in a message template, print it or put it in an email signature, and it keeps working without upkeep. For a printed version, see the review QR code tool.
Can I paste a short Google Maps share link into the generator?
No. Short links from the Maps app, such as maps.app.goo.gl addresses, do not contain the Place ID, so the tool asks for the ID instead. Links with placeid, place_id or query_place_id in them work. Our team can find the right profile for you when you ask for a free audit.
What WhatsApp and SMS messages come with the review link generator?
There are ready templates for WhatsApp after a visit, WhatsApp after a service or appointment, a short SMS, and an SMS to send with the bill. Add your business name and your link fills in. You can copy a message or open it in WhatsApp or SMS. For automated sending, see review requests.
Where should I share my Google review link?
Send it on WhatsApp after a visit or a finished job, in an SMS with the bill, in your email signature and on your website or Instagram bio. Share it with every customer, not only happy ones. A printed code at the counter works too. See the QR code generator.
Is it allowed to send my Google review link to customers?
Yes. Asking for a review is fine. Offering rewards, sending the link only to happy customers, or steering unhappy ones away from Google is not allowed. Send the same link to every customer and let the reviews say what they say. Our guide to more reviews covers asking well.
How do I get more Google reviews for my business?
Ask every customer soon after the visit and make it easy with a direct link or a QR code. Reply to the reviews you receive. Never offer anything in return and never ask only the happy customers. Our team can do the asking and replying for you through review requests.
Can customers hide their name when they use my review link?
The link cannot change that. A review is posted under the customer's own Google account, and the name shown comes from that account, not from your business or from this tool. Customers need to be signed in to Google to post. See our reviews FAQ for more on how reviews work.
Can AI write a Google review for a customer using my link?
No, and you should not ask it to. Reviews must reflect a real customer experience written by that customer. Writing reviews for your own business, or asking others to, breaks Google's rules and can get reviews removed. Customers write their own. See how to get more reviews.
Who replies to the reviews that arrive through my review link?
Our team does, if you take the managed service. Replies are written in your voice. Negative reviews are handled by a person on our team. The free link only gets you the reviews. Read about our review replies service, or start with the free audit.
More reviews coming in? We'll answer every one.
Our team replies in your voice, every week.
